What We Do
We treat the most common short-term health problems in primary care like acne, skin infections, men’s health, women’s health, ear nose and throat problems etc. We can also issue any medical formal notifications. For a more detailed overview view our Services page.
Following a digital consultation, the doctor can issue a private prescription, fit note, advice on self-help measures, arrange a follow-up plan, or in some cases can refer you to a private specialist in the hospital for further treatment.
What Online Doctors Can’t Do
Due to the nature of the virtual world, online doctors are unable to treat conditions that require a face-to-face assessment like emergency problems and trauma.
We are unable to treat or prescribe medications for long-term health problems like diabetes. We also don’t provide weight management service or prescribe Wegovy
We are unable to prescribe unlicensed medicines or controlled drugs such as Morphine as they are subject to high levels of regulation as a result of government decisions about those drugs that are especially addictive and harmful.
However, in all these situations, we will always endeavour to help, and we will ask for your consent to contact other services that can treat you such as your NHS GP. We can also call the NHS hospital on-call doctor if you need same day emergency care (SDEC).
