Applegarth Farm Signs Agreement With Consultdoc Limited

Talking about quality produce, homegrown locally sourced and wholly fair, think Applegarth Farm, a farm shop restaurant for mediterranean bistro food by day and a fine dining menu on Thursday to Saturday nights. For over 45 years, Applegarth has been growing, farming, producing, and selling food from the family’s farmland on the Surrey Hampshire borders of Grayshott.

Food is the heartbeat of Applegarth. Fresh local and homegrown produce, exciting flavour combinations menus. Thanks to the longstanding relationships they have with many reputable local suppliers, their customers can also enjoy a wide range of artisan produce. Whether you are visiting their restaurant or farm shop, cookery school, shopping online or ordering a takeaway you can be rest assured that they have gone the extra mile to make sure the experience is safe & enjoyable.

When John and Stephanie Benson purchased a piece of land in Grayshott in 1976 to start growing a range of soft fruit and vegetables, little did they know they were starting a new business community there. Today Applegarth employs about 32 people and has a thriving Restaurant and Farm Shop selling a whole raft of locally sourced, unique products. They are still true to their roots however, trying to break the mould of faceless high street shopping by providing a personal and unique location. Still a family run business headed by William Benson, Applegarth has been granted permission with its bold plans to expand upon its existing facilities with www.applegarthspotential.biz.

When we met Will at the restaurant last month he talks about the welfare of his staff as very important, he recently installed an impressive relaxation facility that includes a sauna within the location and as part of a welfare package he agreed to sign a contract with Consultdoc to provide an independent telemedicine service for all members of his staff to be able to have a quick direct access to an online independent GP when needed. This is a wise decision during this pandemic and help relief the pressure off the National Health Service. With this agreement, their staff will be able to register and book an appointment here with a discounted price.
