Doctor Gets The Unique COVID-19 Commemorative Coin

In recognition of his contribution over the last 18 months during the global pandemic, Dr. Sogbesan received the unique commemorative coin this week from the South-Central Ambulance Service.

Dr. Sogbesan had volunteered for the COVID-19 Clinical Assessment Service and had helped manage people with COVID-19 infection. The coin reminded him of the time he has spent in the last few months both days and nights talking to many people and giving reassurances and guidance towards recovery from the terrible infection. He expresses his thanks to the NHS service.

As winter approaches and cases of COVID-19 continue to rise again, this reminds us to stay safe and help to reduce the pressure on the hospitals during this winter. Some of the measures we can take include getting fully vaccinated, this is the best way of protecting yourselves and others against COVID-19. The vaccines are safe and effective.

You should wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed areas where you come into contact with people you do not usually meet. If you develop a fever or continuous cough, self-isolate immediately and get a PCR test, even if your symptoms are mild. You can find more information on COVID-19 on the UK government website.

You can also book an appointment with Consultdoc with the full flexibility of suiting you and your needs. Your time, your place, your convenience.
