What is anxiety?
Anxiety can be a problem when you have too much feeling of worry or fear about every day issues that is out of proportion. Most of the time you will feel restless, tired, lack concentration, palpitation and have sleep problem. This is referred to as Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
What causes GAD?
This can be due to many factors. It is twice as common in women and more common between the ages of 35 to 55 years. You are more likely to have GAD if you have a long term health problem like diabetes or if you have experienced a stressful or traumatic event in the past.
